Our Practice
Established in 1937 by Dr. Tom Bond as the Bond Radiological Group, Radiology Associates of Tarrant County, P.A., has been the leader in imaging services in Tarrant County for over 70 years. Dr. Bond was the son of Dr. George Bond of Hillsboro, one of the first radiologists in North Texas. Through the years, Radiology Associates has grown to 60 board-certified radiologists who provide inpatient and outpatient diagnostic radiology and imaging services across North Texas.
Currently, Radiology Associates is one of the largest radiology practices in the state of Texas. Approximately half of Radiology Associates' radiologists have received additional fellowship training in specific areas which include Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology, Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Pediatric Radiology, Gastrointestinal Imaging, Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Several of the physicians have received Certificates of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology, Pediatric Radiology and Vascular and Interventional Radiology, all awarded by the American Board of Radiology through a stringent examination process to meet national requirements.
Radiology Associates' commitment to the community goes well beyond medicine. In 1991, Radiology Associates developed the Community Charity Fund to help with the non-medical needs of the community as a whole, devoted solely to helping the citizens of Tarrant County in need. Recent donations include those to AIDS Outreach Center, the Gladney Fund, the Women's Center of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, Lena Pope Home, Tarrant Area Food Bank, The Warm Place, Union Gospel Mission, Meals on Wheels, Cancer Care Services and Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth. Radiology Associates also awards annual scholarships to deserving area radiology technology students.
