H. Daniel Fawcett, M.D., FACR

Daniel Fawcett, M.D., has been a radiologist for Radiology Associates of Tarrant County, P.A., since 1990.  In 1971, Dr. Fawcett received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and his medical degree in 1975, both from Dalhousie University.  In 1976, Dr. Fawcett completed a rotating internship at Ottawa Civic Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario.  He then completed three residencies.  The first was an Internal Medicine Residency at Dalhousie University in 1977.  The second, also at Dalhousie University, was a Diagnostic Radiology Residency, completed in 1978.  The third was a residency in Nuclear Medicine, completed at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, CA, in 1980.  Dr. Fawcett is certified by the American Board of Radiology with Special Competence in Nuclear Medicine and also by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.  His sub-specialty is in Nuclear Medicine.

Dr. Fawcett’s honors include being a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, receiving the Charles E. Frosst Award in Nuclear Medicine Sciences in 1981 and being a Fellow of the American College of Radiology in 2005.  Dr. Fawcett taught at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston from 1982 to 1987 as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and as an Associate Professor from 1987 to 1990.  Dr. Fawcett has professional affiliations with the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Tarrant County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Society of Nuclear Medicine and the Radiological Society of North America.
