D. Joe Garmer, M.D.

garmerD. Joe Garmer, M.D., has been a radiologist for Radiology Associates of Tarrant County, P.A., since 1991.  Dr. Garmer received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, in 1977.  He then received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock in 1982.  At the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Dr. Garmer completed his residency in Radiology in 1990 and a fellowship in Interventional Radiology in 1991.  His sub-specialty is in Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Garmer is certified by the American Board of Radiology and has professional affiliations with the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Tarrant County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Texas Radiological Society.
