Ronald J. Gerstle, M.D.

gerstleRonald J. Gerstle, M.D., has been a radiologist for Radiology Associates of Tarrant County, P.A., since 2006.  Dr. Gerstle received his BSE in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University in Durham, NC, in 1993.  He then received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill in 1999.  Dr. Gerstle completed an Internal Medicine Internship at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, in 2000.  In 2004, Dr. Gerstle completed his residency in Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, where he also completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology and Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology. 

Dr. Gerstle’s honors include being on the Dean’s List with Distinction at Duke University from 1991 to 1993.  Also at Duke, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi.  At Barnes-Jewish Hospital, he was the Resident of the Year in 2000 and from 2003 to 2004, Dr. Gerstle was the Chief Resident of Diagnostic Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology.  Dr. Gerstle is certified by the American Board of Radiology and his sub-specialty is in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology.
